1/2 kg organic beans bacaleco
2-3 spring onions
greek tsipouro bacaleco
2 tablespoons honey bacaleco
2 teaspoons cumin
2 tablespoons mustard
2 teaspoons turmeric
Soak the beans from the previous night and the next morning boil them but let them 'al dente'. Keep some of the water you boiled them.
Cut the onions and the spring onions in slices. Take a deep pan and brown them in olive oil.
When ready add the dill and then the greek tsipouro and let the alcohol evaporate.
In the meantime take a bowl and put the beans and season with cumin,salt pepper and the mustard.
Add the beans to the pan and a little of the water you saved before.Stir and let them simmer until the sauce thickens and the beans are soft.
Last but not least add the raisins and the honey stir very well and serve while its hot!
